Duckworth Capital Management, Inc. is a registered investment advisor offering portfolio management services to individual and institutional investors.  Our investment approach is long-term, value-oriented and based on fundamental research. 

 

 

 

Russel B. Duckworth, CFA

President

 

Mr. Duckworth has managed small-cap value portfolios for over ten years.  Prior to founding DCM in 2004, he was an equity analyst with Sterling Capital Management in Charlotte, NC.  Mr. Duckworth began his investment career as a research analyst with Salomon Smith Barney in New York. 

 

From 1998-2000, Mr. Duckworth was an attorney with the law firm of Moore & Van Allen in Charlotte, where he focused on leveraged buyout and private equity transactions.  He worked at Ericsson prior to law school, serving in a variety of marketing, engineering and finance roles as part of a management development program.

 

Mr. Duckworth has a law degree from the University of Virginia and a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.  He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada.
